Small habits that make a difference
Put your jewelry on last
Perfume, creams and make-up first. Jewelry last.
Take it off first
Shower, sea, pool, exercise, cleaning and sleep: better without jewelry.
Clean it gently
For everyday care, use a soft, dry, untreated cloth.
Store pieces separately
Store each piece dry and separate from other jewelry, inside its original packaging or a protective pouch. This helps reduce scratches, friction and contact with humidity.
When deeper cleaning is needed
If a soft cloth is not enough, some MyOh pieces can be gently washed under lukewarm running water with a small amount of mild soap.
- Wet the jewelry with lukewarm water.
- Apply a very small amount of mild soap and massage gently with your fingers.
- For recesses or hard-to-reach areas, where the material allows, you can use a very soft-bristled toothbrush without applying pressure.
- Rinse thoroughly under lukewarm running water.
- Dry immediately with a soft cloth, without rubbing vigorously.
Avoid very hot water, harsh detergents, alcohol, bleach, baking soda, toothpaste, abrasive products and stiff brushes.
A brief, controlled cleaning is not the same as wearing jewelry in the shower, sea or pool. Pearls, certain stones and specific finishes require extra care.
Care by material
Each finish needs different care. Open the section that matches your jewelry.
Silver is a precious metal that can naturally oxidize over time when exposed to air, humidity, substances in the environment and individual skin characteristics. Oxidation does not necessarily mean the jewelry is damaged or of poor quality.
In MyOh jewelry, silver may be protected by an 18k gold or rhodium finish. Avoid aggressive silver-cleaning products, as they may compromise the surface finish.
For everyday care, use a soft, dry cloth. When the design allows it and deeper cleaning is needed, you can use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap, then rinse and dry immediately and carefully.
Gold plating is a precious surface finish applied to silver. With wear and over time, it can gradually become lighter, especially in areas subject to greater contact or friction.
The longevity of the finish can be affected by how often the piece is worn, contact with water and cosmetics, perspiration, friction and individual skin characteristics.
For everyday care, use a soft, dry cloth. If needed, gently clean the piece with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap. Do not soak it and do not rub the surface vigorously.

Rhodium protects the surface of the silver and gives the jewelry a bright finish. Rhodium is also a surface finish and may gradually wear in areas most exposed to friction.
For everyday care, use a soft cloth. If needed, and if the piece does not contain more delicate elements, you can briefly wash it with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap, then rinse and dry immediately. Avoid polishing products, abrasive substances and aggressive cleaning.
If you notice a change in the finish over time, we can assess whether the piece can be refinished.
18k gold is not plating: the jewelry itself is made from solid gold. With wear, it can still develop small marks and surface scratches as part of the natural evolution of a piece that is regularly worn.
When needed, gently wash the jewelry with lukewarm water and mild soap. To reach small recesses or areas around stones, where the setting and other materials allow, you can use a very soft-bristled toothbrush. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Store it separately from other pieces and avoid impacts and chemicals that could damage the metal, stones or settings.
MyOh white gold jewelry is made from solid 18k gold with a rhodium finish. Over time, the surface rhodium may gradually wear, allowing more of the natural tone of the underlying white gold to show through.
For cleaning, use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap, avoiding abrasive products or aggressive polishing agents. Always dry carefully.
When needed, we can assess refinishing through MyOh Care & Repair.
Pearls require particular care. Put them on after perfume, creams and make-up and, after wearing them, gently wipe them with a very soft cloth.
Do not immerse pearls in water and do not use a toothbrush. When needed, use a slightly damp soft cloth and dry them immediately and carefully.
Avoid jewelry cleaners, alcohol, abrasive products, ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged immersion. Store pearls separately from other jewelry to reduce scratches and friction.
Stones and settings can accumulate cosmetic residue or impurities over time and temporarily lose some of their brilliance.
When the piece does not contain pearls or other delicate elements, cleaning with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap can help. In hard-to-reach areas, use a very soft-bristled toothbrush with extreme care and never force it around the settings.
If a stone seems loose, the setting looks different, or you think the jewelry needs a deeper clean, stop wearing it and contact us for an assessment.
Warranty or MyOh Care & Repair?

The MyOh warranty
Jewelry purchased from MyOh is protected by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity, in accordance with applicable law and our terms of sale.
The normal evolution of jewelry through use does not automatically constitute a lack of conformity. Situations generally linked to wear may include gradual wearing of plating or rhodium finishes, scratches and signs of use, damage caused by impacts or deformation, contact with chemicals, damage caused by water, chlorine or salt water, and incorrect use or maintenance.

MyOh Care & Repair
MyOh Care & Repair is our service dedicated to assessing, maintaining and, where possible, restoring your MyOh jewelry.
You can request it even for a MyOh piece purchased some time ago. Depending on the design and its condition, we’ll assess the technical possibility of services such as professional cleaning, inspection, repair, replating or rhodium refinishing, where technically possible.
Each piece is assessed individually. We do not publish a fixed price list because the type of service can vary from case to case. If the work is not covered by the warranty, you will receive a quote before any work is carried out and we will not proceed without your approval.
For paid services, outbound and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are included in the quote.
How to request support
Our initial assessment always starts with photographs and information about the jewelry. Shipping is requested only when it is genuinely necessary.

What to send us
Email hello@myohjewelry.com with your first and last name, the name of the jewelry if you know it, your order number or the email used for the purchase, the approximate purchase date, and a short description of what you noticed and how the piece is normally worn.
Attach one full photo of the jewelry and 2–3 close-up photos of the area concerned. If it helps us understand the issue more clearly, add a short video.
Please do not send the jewelry before receiving our instructions. If a physical inspection is necessary, we’ll send you the instructions for shipping it to us.
